Building Congress & Exchange of Metropolitan Baltimore, Inc.

The mission statement of the Building Congress & Exchange of Metropolitan Baltimore, Inc. is to foster interaction among its members for the exchange of ideas and information, for the improvement of the construction industry and for the education of and service to our members and to the community.  The Building Congress & Exchange is today, as it has been for more than 100 years, a team of devoted volunteers representing a cross-section of the construction industry.  Since the first meeting in May 1888, the Building Congress & Exchange has weathered many changes in the economic climate.  As the "umbrella association," our membership includes general contractors, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, interior designers, as well as developers, insurance representatives, financial institutions, legal advisors, bonding companies, and other allied industry groups.  The strength of the Building Congress & Exchange is the active involvement and diversity of its members.
